This is a once in a lifetime destination that will amaze and delight visitors of all ages.

If your kids can stand the long flights, Honolulu, Hawaii is another fabulous destination. Honolulu has loads to offer families, such as child-friendly beaches, whale watching, dolphin shows and even the opportunity to swim with these beautiful creatures. There’s a few waterparks dotted throughout the island and taking a hike to visit the native wildlife is not to be missed.

Washington D.C. might not seem like the kind of place that would excite children, but a visit to the fabulous White House (“the President’s House” to them!), stately Lincoln Memorial or stunning Capitol Building, all familiar sights to kids of school age, is sure to set their heart’s racing. The city’s National Mall, containing a wide array of world-class museums, is an ideal family holiday hang out as it offers a wealth of history without emptying out your wallet in the process and the kids can bounce from one to the other without a great deal of travel in between locations.
